RR Celebrates at the Dublin Aviation Summit

The Dublin Aviation Summit was an unknown for Rotable Repairs but certainly turned out to be fantastic opportunity as we found out. The drinks reception was a particular success clearing most of the Hall and bringing everyone together for a networking event which we will find hard to match. Thanks to our exhibition partners and good friends at PDQ, Reheat, ASI, Skyline and GCAM who complimented our offering and attracted their own customer base to the Airport Bar.

Rotable Repairs and Aircrafters, Inc. sign exclusive European Distribution Agreement at Farnborough

Aircrafters, Inc., a New Castle, Delaware based leading supplier of commercial Aircraft Wheels and Brakes and Rotable Repairs, a South of England based Aviation Wheel and Brake repair specialists agree on an exclusive stocking agreement.

The long-term and exclusive consignment agreement provides both companies with the ability to offer key benefits to their European customer base, which includes a significant inventory of lucrative and relevant materials, serviceable parts and new advance exchange options when urgently required.

The new agreement allocates Rotable Repairs exclusive rights to a large inventory managed out of their own Southend-on-Sea based facility, enabling them to access a pool of wheel and brake materials from the likes of Goodrich, Messier and Honeywell, whilst servicing a range of aircrafts such as B737’s, B757’s, B767’s, A320 and A321.

Bryan Croft, Director, Rotable Repairs said: “We are excited to be able to offer our current clientele with a new level of support. The additional materials will be predominately available for sale but will also add an enhanced customer experience for those looking to lease, take advanced exchanges and position stock at line stations. Our aim being to reduce lead times, increase availability and assist our customers by helping them continue their day to day operation without disruption”

Aircrafters will experience a passive increase in sales and access to a previously undeveloped European customer base, allowing them to provide materials into Europe through more logistically sound means.

Greg Coffield, Vice President, Aircrafters added: “We are very pleased with Rotable Repairs’ knowledge of the customer base in the European Aviation Market and the shared vision on how this joint effort will better support both of our customer base.”

The agreement was signed off during the Farnborough International Airshow 2016 and is worth an estimated 4 million USD in total.
